Ventura Harvest Festival October 16, 2009

The Ventura Harvest Festival Original Art and Craft Show® surfs into the Ventura County Fairgrounds, October 16-18, 2009, at Seaside Park for a spectacular wave of excitement, glamour and fun, all within one convenient shopping destination.

The Harvest Festival prides itself on creating a warm, family-friendly environment and boasts exciting live music and entertainment. This year, the show has brought in a brand new act called Orquesta Charangoa. The group plays authentic Cuban charanga and Latin jazz, mixed with African influenced percussion. Lead by virtuoso flutist Fay Roberts, and also featuring Cuban singing sensation Chalo Chomat, Orquesta Charangoa’s vocal harmonies melded with signature flute and piano combinations are sure to delight the senses.

Each year the Harvest Festival works with local media to provide the community with a hands-on Kid Zone along with an interactive Pumpkin Patch for the children to meander through. Don’t miss the only chance to experience the show that has become a favorite fall tradition to residents of Ventura.
