“Venice and its Lagoon: the MO.S.E. Project”
MO.S.E. is a multi-billion dollar project designed to protect the city of Venice from flooding during high tides. The project involves using a system of inflatable flood gates to prevent seawater from flowing through Venice's three inlets into its lagoon.
