Each fall, the VCU Friends of the Library stage a multi-day book sale offering a wide selection of novels, poetry collections, academic texts, DVD movies, CDs and much more. All materials have been donated by members of the VCU and wider Richmond communities, and proceeds from the sale help to fund VCU Libraries’ collections, programs and lectures. This year's sale will take place Monday, October 22, through Friday, October 26, 2012, in the basement of James Branch Cabell Library, located at 901 Park Avenue on the VCU Monroe Park Campus. Admission on all days is free and open to the public. For book sale policies and additional details, please see http://www.library.vcu.edu/giving/booksale.html. For enquiries about donating books or about becoming a Friends donor in time for the preview sale, please contact Antonia F.D. Vassar at (804) 827-1165 or Gregory G. Kimbrell at (804) 828-0593.
