Vashti Bunyan, Espers September 15, 2006

Tonight marks the first-ever Boston performance by one of the most influential musicians of the psychedelic folk movement. Vashti Bunyan has collaborated with and been claimed as an influence by artists such as Devendra Banhart, Animal Collective, Joanna Newsom, and Four Tet. She is touring on the occasion of her first album in thirty years, fronting of a full band and traveling with much touted folk explorers Espers from Philadelphia.
