Indie-rock guitarist Brandon Butler brings his whiskey-soaked voice and blend of roots-rock and country blues to the stage. Laura Burhenn is an up-and-coming singer/songwriter in Washington D.C. whose skills at the piano and vocal style have earned her comparisons that range from Tori Amos to Billie Holiday to Joni Mitchell and even to DC's own Eva Cassidy. A four-time Wammie nominee, Laura has toured the east and west coasts and her songs have been played on numerous radio stations, including XM Radio's Unsigned Channel. Her most recent accolades include a runner-up spot in the American Idol Underground songwriting competition and a 2006 Wammie nomination for best female rock vocalist.
