Join Meet Market Adventures and other Thrill Seeking Singles as we escape our busy lives to spend a fun-filled afternoon of rafting on the Squamish and Elaho rivers. Whether you’ve rafted before or this is your very first time, experienced river guides will teach us all the ins and outs of river and rafting safety as well as the skills needed to maneuver through exciting Class 3-4 rapids including the famous “Devils Elbow” which was used in Mark Burnett’s 1996 Eco Challenge Adventure Race!
Along with some of North America’s most exhilarating rapids, our 2-3 hour river journey will take us through approximately 16 kms of BC’s most inspiring wilderness; including old growth forests, dormant volcanoes, towering glaciers, and stunning waterfalls that cascade hundreds of feet toward the river. A waterproof camera is a must!
Our afternoon won’t all be spent inside the rafts; depending on water levels you may have the chance to swim through rapids, and showcase your sense of balance in some of your guide's amusing challenges. We’ll wrap up our white water rafting adventure with a well earned Outback BBQ (delicious vegetarian options are also available) as we share stories and laughs from our afternoon with our new-found friends.
So grab your sense of adventure and spend an afternoon in the great outdoors challenging yourself while taking in some of the country’s most spectacular scenery from a place most people haven’t had the opportunity to do so – riding a raft on the water!
