Vancouver Poetry Slam Finals May 5, 2006

Eight of Vancouver's brightest slam poets take the stage to find out which four will comprise the 2006 Vancouver Poetry Slam team. The top four will head to Austin, Texas in August and to Toronto, Ontario in October to compete in two different major poetry slam events.

Come out for the fun, the excitement, the beer and the words. Or maybe the words should be first and foremost. Either way you are invited.
5 people will be picked at random from the audience to be judges for the night.

Doors at open around 8pm
Slam starts at 9 o'clock. $10-$15 sliding scale.
This is also a Van Slam Fundraiser.
