Valentine's Day for Seniors February 14, 2006

Senior Services is inviting all Elgin area seniors to a full day of Valentine's fun Tuesday at 101 S. Grove Ave.

Beginning at 10 a.m., the Elgin Senior Center and ManorCare's "Red Hat Hattitudes & Grumpy Ol' Men's Chapter" will have their semi-monthly event, which will include Red Hat Bingo and prizes.

From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., the traditional "15-Bean Soup" with warm buttered corn bread, luncheon salad and special Valentine's Day desserts will be served.

Elmer's Tunes begins at 11:30 a.m., followed at 12:30 p.m. by the weekly Friday bingo game.
