Valentine's Cooking Class with Three-Course Dining January 29, 2011

Get a behind-the-scenes look at Sassi with an interactive Valentine's cooking class by Executive Chef Christopher Nicosia from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Jan. 29.
Located in an Old World Italian villa, AAA Four Diamond Sassi specializes in cuisine inspired by the traditions of Southern Italy using local, seasonal and sustainable ingredients.
Sassi Executive Chef Nicosia will provide instruction to guests followed by lunch comprised of the three courses prepared in class. Each course will be accompanied by an Italian wine.
The first course features antipasti of Sicilian chickpea fritters followed by blood orange salad with shaved fennel and olives. Guests will learn how to create handmade ravioli nudi with gorgonzola and walnuts. A sweet dessert of espresso panna cotta will complete the romantic cuisine.
Recipes will be provided to everyone attending the Sassi Valentine's cooking class. The cooking class costs $65 per person.
