"Vagina Monologues" March 4, 2010

This Vagina Monologues presentation of Playwright/Founder Eve Ensler’s award winning play is the annual V-Day benefit production by the North County African American Women's Association. The goal is to heighten the awareness about violence against women and to raise money for the local community-based anti-violence programs. V-Day strives to empower women to find their collective voices and demand an end to the violence that affects one in three women around the world. In 2009, over 4200 V-Day benefit productions were presented, educating millions of people about the reality of violence against women. To date, the V-Day movement has raised over $70 million to fund over 11,000 community-based programs. All Seating is General Admission.
