UT Faculty Ensemble: Bach at The Blanton May 1, 2011

Butler School of Music faculty artists Marianne Gedigian, Judith Hancock, Rebecca Henderson and Roger Myers, present a unique program of solo and chamber works by Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach, most famous musical son of the great Johann Sebastian Bach. CPE Bach was a renowned composer in the latter half of the 18th century who fell out of favor in the 19th. Since the 1960s, revival of his works has been underway.
