In a joint effort with the University of Texas-Dallas and SHPE-DFW, subject matter experts and researchers from area corporations (eg: Raytheon, Texas Instruments, Verizon, Microsoft and Lennox) and universities (UT-Dallas & SMU) are coming together at this Technical Professional Conference, open to the public, to speak on current cutting edge technologies that are opening up new career opportunities. The Agenda includes predicted solutions in Green Technology and Energy Efficiency, latest advances in Mechanical/Software Engineering and Telecom, cutting-edge Image Processing, Super-Efficient Air Conditioning Systems as well as upcoming Microsoft technologies. The lineup also includes a Super Lean Six Sigma session with Certificate, a workshop on using Social Media as a Competitive Advantage as well as a tour of the UT-Dallas Engineering Facility. A representative from the DFW Airport Board will also be on-hand to accept resumes for current job openings.
This one-day event is being held at the UT-Dallas Campus in Richardson, Texas on April 23, 2010 and targets all professionals and university students in North Texas who are interested in hearing from the front line experts themselves about the state of technology in various fields, in order to make informed decisions affecting their careers now and in the future.
