Join Next American City for the third installment in our URBANEXUS lecture series, featuring a lecture by Michael Oden, graduate advisor for community and regional planning at the University of Texas at Austin. The lecture will discuss the relationship between artistic and cultural activity and economic development. How can a vibrant arts and culture scene bolster economic growth and development and in turn, make the argument for economic investment in the arts? A panel of representatives of the arts and culture scene will contribute to the conversation. Admission is free.
