Urban Perspectives continues the Goethe-Institut Gallery examination of urban themes through a wide palette of aesthetic lenses. This show features photo sculpture, video art and photo based wall paintings that focus on the city from differing, yet related aesthetic, political and psycho-geographic points of view. The artists have chosen to work with both well known and all too often overlooked architectural structures in the immediate neighbourhood of the Goethe-Institut.
Exhibition continues until February 2007. For further details see www.goethe.de/toronto.
Many sincere thanks to the Drake Hotel, where Andreas Koch is spending October 2006 as Artist in Residence and currently has two works on display in the 'Trash' exhibit.
