Celebrate with us a special, seasonal toast to the setting of the summer sun on the shores of English Bay.
Urban Mixer is going way upscale, to F. Scott's turf. Join us for a very special event; our inaugural Urban Mixer Urban Martini tour, at English Bay.
We'll partake of sartorial elegance and the very best of modern mixology. A classic Martini is always a classic, but we've asked Vancouver's best bartenders to tenderly mix us something new that will leave us both shaken and stirred. We've arranged for each secret speakeasy to prepare the most contemporary cocktails, the Cosmo di tutti Cosmos (okay, kidding. We know they're over!) as well as the most delectable hors d'oevres.
Dorothy Parker would be so jealous!
We rendezvous at Central at 7pm, dressed in our best cocktail-wear. It's a decorative dresscode night, so show us your best; you know how we like to see your best.
We'll sip a little something and nibble a little nibble for an hour before moving on to our second salon of the night. There we will also be pampered for a full hour, when we must say our tearful farewells to the staff (not goodbye, but au revior) and make our way to the third, and final, palace of pleasure. There, we'll toast the end of summer and the coming of the sweater season. There's always something new to look forward to in this town!
$10 in advance, $20 at the door (if there is space) will get you your place on the tour, plus a souvenir Martini Passport, to remember the evening by. You are responsible for your bar tab, and of course, for getting home safe. We want to see you next week, too!
