Join the "Urban Explorers" as we embark on an exploration of our city and of city life through a series of guided tours. Whether the tours are focused on architectural or cultural, historical or quirky and/or a combination of any of the above, you will certain see the many wonderful facets of our urban jungle and hopefully gain a better appreciation of the city you live in. So put on that explorer's hat and let's go!
For over twenty years, the Los Angeles Conservancy has been sharing Los Angeles' unique architectural treasures with the public through its Downtown Walking Tour program. Today, we'll be taking a private docent-led 2-1/2 hour walking tour of the part of Los Angeles known as the Historic Core.
Spanning four decades of Los Angeles history, this tour covers many of the great landmarks in downtown's Historic Core, encompassing architectural styles from the Victorian to the Beaux Arts to the Art Deco.
You'll get to learn more about Pershing Square, check out the amazing Bradbury Building, walk through the historic Grand Central Market and so much more. It'll truly be a morning spent getting to know more about Los Angeles than you've ever known before. A day exploring and experiencing Historic LA is truly a great way to spend a Saturday, so please come out and join us!
