Urban Assault Ride - Madison August 24, 2008

The Urban Assault Ride™ is funky bike scavenger hunt that involves street-smart riding, obstacle courses, and a huge after party. Mental muscle is just as important as bike skills as teams of 2 choose their own course to checkpoints around the city.

The event is well known for its checkpoints where physical and mental obstacle courses must be completed before moving on. Kinda like American Gladiators with a demented cycling twist. The first team to hit all of the checkpoint and cross the finish line wins! Then the party begins with FREE BEER and lots more two-wheeled shenanigans!

It is THE MOST FUN you will ever have on a bike.

Madison WI - Sunday August 24th

We had such a blast in Madison last year. The rain didn't seem to bother anybody too much - but let's make it a dry day in 2008, ok? Olin Park is a beautiful venue and we have some awesome checkpoints. Trek is the new title sponsor this year - so we expect to see you out supporting your favorite Waterloo bike maker. A couple of sweet bikes await the winning team and last year's event was a very close call. Do your home work and plan your route - there are so many bike-friendly routes, so it should'nt be too hard. Capital Brewery beer and Chipotle burritos for all after you get off the bike.
