"Uptown North Dallas High School Car Show" October 10, 2009

The North Dallas High School Sports Boosters are organizing the first "Uptown North Dallas High School Car Show" on Saturday, Oct. 10, 2009, at the North Dallas High School.

Free admission to the public. Car Club entries is $15 per car; preregistering appreciated.

Concessions will be available.

Registration begins at 10 a.m. Judging will be from noon to 2 p.m. Awards presentation will be at 3 p.m.
This year's categories include Largest Club Award, Best Low Rider, Best Classic, Best Import, Best Open, Best Antique and last, Best of Show.

At noon, the North Dallas ROTC Color Guard and battalion will present the flags. The ND band will also play. D.J. Shon-C will be on hand too.

Funds raised at this event will be earmarked for improving the sports facilities at North Dallas. The new softball/baseball field is in need of a scoreboard and a concession stand.

Donations are appreciated at the registration booth.
