Upper Darby Sousa Band July 4, 2012

The Upper Darby Sousa Band has been re-creating the exciting music of John Philip Sousa and his band since 1987. Founded by Thomas J. Hoey, the band of 90 musicians performs classic marches and concerts pieces that Sousa performed in his concerts. In addition to directing the band, Hoey takes on the persona of John Philip Sousa at concerts and narrates from Sousa's point of view.
