Unveiling of Sculpture of Cartoonist Bill Gallo May 22, 2012

Legendary New York Daily News cartoonist Bill Gallo will be remembered when a permanent statue by noted artist Carl LeVotch is unveiled before 120 members of his “Gallo’s Geezers” group on Tuesday at noon at Gallagher's Steak House. Brooklyn Dodgers All-Star Ralph Branca will be joined by members of the Daily News and Gallo families for the ceremonies. The beloved Gallo had held monthly luncheons featuring over 60 success stories before his passing last year.
