Mexican American Studies at the University of North Texas invites you to attend the 1st Annual Mexican American Studies Conference. This year?s conference is titled ?Historia y Cultura: Recognizing Chicano Self-Expression.? The conference features Mexican American journalists and young filmmakers from the North Texas metropolitan area. They will discuss their professional experience and relate it to past, present, and future realities facing the Mexican American and Latino community. We greatly encourage your attendance. Bring a friend. The conference is free and open to the public.
