Presenting the 2005 Unmask the Mysteries Mardi Gras Gala & Award of Distinction, a tribute to leaders in the fight against HIV/AIDS. This extravagant New Orleans-style charity gala will transport spirited revelers from the heart of Silicon Valley to a festive land of masked balls, parades, jazz, and camaraderie.

Join business and civic leaders and passionate supporters of HIV/AIDS causes as they mobilize to raise awareness for prevention, treatment and care. Together, we'll raise our voices, unmask the facts of this indiscriminate disease, and generate critical funding for the benefiting agencies served by AIDS Coalition Silicon Valley in Santa Clara County.

The highlight of the evening is the Award of Distinction, an honor bestowed on an individual, organization or group that is breaking new ground in the fight against this disease. Event highlights include: live musical performances; Taste of Mardi Gras; Celebrities Unmasked exhibit; commemorative items; Mardi Gras parades; masks & traditional costumes; exhibits & demonstrations; stage performances and dancing.

Proceeds support AIDS Coalition Silicon Valley, a non-profit grassroots volunteer organization dedicated to increasing awareness, involvement and support of HIV/AIDS through community events and activities in the San Francisco Bay Area.
