British musical outfit UNKLE was founded in 1994 by school friends James Lavelle and Tim Goldsworthy. UNKLE is a group that achieved super stardom as soon as the first production was released. Every production has a lot of thought put into it and they always seem to be good. When their debut album first hit the shelves, they became an instant hit. However, James felt that this instant fame and fortune was not his character and tried to keep his gigs low profile, limiting his gigs to small gigs and bars. Tonight, The Bowery Presents provides a rare evening with UNKLE; high quality thoughtful music that is produced for the music.
