2nd Annual UofT China Conference – China: Stepping Up to Global Challenges
Saturday, March24 at 9:30am-5 p.m.
Health Sciences Building
155 College Street
The University of Toronto China Conference (UTCC) brings you the theme “China: Stepping Up to Global Challenges” this year. As one of the largest and fastest growing economies in the world, how and in which direction China develops will undoubtedly have globally spread effects. However, what does this really mean and what kinds of changes and developments is China currently undergoing? With six panels including 20 speakers and one keynote speech, the conference will hopefully answer these and many other questions, as well as fill in gaps in your knowledge of China.
Highlights of UTCC 2007
1 Green Conference: We are committed to organizing an environmentally responsible conference this year, which means organic food will be served, all printing materials will be made recyclable, to name a few.
2 Concurrent Panels: Delegates will have more choices than last year to attend discussion panels according to their preferences.
3 Networking Opportunities: Open invitations will not only be sent to faculties, but also to corporations, government agencies and various social groups.
4 Lucky Draw: Delegates will have the chance to win a return airline ticket (approximately worth of $ 750 CND) to fly anywhere within Canada!
