Mosaics of Faith is an annual conference geared towards stimulating active interest in the vast universe of social, anthropological and political manifestations resulting from the intertwined relationship between culture and faith. The conference is meant to explore connections and divisions between the U.S. and other parts of the world by considering the spiritual journey of different cultures and their long-lasting struggles to live according to their faith and conscience.

With the presence of renowned religious leaders and historical scholars, Mosaics of Faith: The Irish Experience will present a comprehensive perspective of Christian Ireland, from those early years when the seeds of faith were planted on the island to the current years of peace and reconciliation.

Sponsored by the University of St. Thomas Center for International Studies, Center for Irish Studies, Office of the President, Office of Academic Affairs, Office of the Dean of Arts and Sciences, Center for Faith and Culture, Center for Faculty Excellence, and Friends of Archaeology, 174 Trust, Healing Through Remembering, The Boniuk Center for Study and Advancement of Religious Tolerance at Rice University and The Institute of Interfaith Dialog
