University of Maryland Technology Start-Up Boot Camp October 23, 2009

Don't miss one of the most exciting entrepreneurship events of the year, featuring three tracks for: beginning entrepreneurs, bio entrepreneurs, and high-tech entrepreneurs. Speakers include Michael Chasen, co-founder and CEO of Blackboard, Inc., and Brian Hinman, co-founder and former CEO of Polycom, Inc. Speakers from NIH, NSF, venture capitalists, intellectual property experts, and successful entrepreneurs will also be on-hand to guide you through the steps of starting a new tech company. The Boot Camp is an intensive, one-day workshop and networking event about how to launch and grow new ventures, headlined by prominent leaders of this region's entrepreneurial community. Hundreds of like-minded students, faculty, and professionals attend each year.
