University of Delaware Symphony Orchestra October 12, 2008

The UD Symphony Orchestra welcomes the Serafin Quartet to play Elgar's English romantic Introduction and Allegro for solo quartet and orchestra. Also on the program are two famous European musical conceptions of the Mid-East: Mozart's Overture to 'The Abduction from the Seraglio' and one of the most popular pieces of symphonic music ever written - Rimsky-Korsakoff's magical 'Scheherazade.'
