United Way Partners with Fifth Third Bank to “Drive” Financial Wellness April 10, 2013

Fifth Third Bank has teamed up with United Way of Lee, Hendry and Glades to bring Port Charlotte residents the eBus – a vehicle that has been electronically retrofitted to serve as a mobile classroom. Also called Fifth Third Bank’s Financial Empowerment Mobile, the eBus allows visitors to receive one-on-one credit counseling, money management and homeownership advice. In addition, United Way will offer free tax preparation through Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) for qualifying households.

In addition to the financial advice and tax prep offered, Fifth Third Bank will also make a $25,000 check presentation to Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Suncoast (BBBSSC) during the eBus event.
