“Unite The Lights” December 22, 2008

BE BOLD, BE HEARD AND VOICE YOUR COMMITMENT TO GOOD DEEDS

On December 23, 2008 we will be launching “UNITE THE LIGHTS” campaign in New York City, at the base of the Statue of Liberty. There will be a ceremonial lighting of the menorah as well as the torch of lady liberty. We have confirmation from local, national and international politicians and leaders. We are working with cities around the U.S. to develop “UNITE THE LIGHTS” events.

The tragedies and horrors of Mumbai and the siege of the Chabad House have swept fear and uncertainty throughout the world. Chanukah, The Festival of Lights is a time to remember that miracles do happen. This year we are asking you to join together, light a candle and illuminate the world. Be bold, be heard, and voice your commitment to partake in good deeds in the year to come.

This event has already generated a great buzz and media attention. Communities are encouraged to incorporate this into their local events.
