Understanding Your Computer 1 September 29, 2009

This class is the first of three sequential courses in which we will cover more advanced topics than those discussed in the Beginner’s Computer Course. This class will continue over three sessions and will allow more time for explanations. Topics to be covered include: Windows functions such as using/installing software, finding and organizing files, and more. We will also discuss basic hardware ideas and how to use disks, CDs, and the hard drive.

Registration for computer classes will begin on Monday, August 10, 2009, in the Business Office of the Library. You must register in person.

A $10.00 refundable deposit per class is required upon registration to hold your space for the class. We accept cash and checks only for computer class registrations. We regret we are unable to accept debit/credit cards.

A 24 hour cancellation notice (prior to the start of the class) is required in order to receive a refund of the $10.00 deposit.
