Everyone has experienced different clinical symptoms from time to time, and its often hard to understand how they arise, what the possible causes are, and what, if any, treatment should be sought. Of course anything persistent or out-of-the-ordinary needs to be discussed with your own doctor, but its naturally interesting to learn about how a particular symptom could come about, and what the differential diagnosis might be. Learn from a Professor of Medicine how doctors go about tracking down the cause of a patients symptoms, what the clinical clues in history and examination are, and what the role of further investigations is in many common presentations. There will be an opportunity to ask questions about particular complaints of interest to class members. Details of this event may be subject to change.
