The Underground Connection Lyricist Lounge features open mic, featured artist, and Monthly Competitions that feature unsigned/independent Hip Hop talent: mcs’, djs’, singers, dancers, poets, instrumentalist, graphic/fashion designers, and graffiti artist in the Pine Avenue District in the heart of downtown Long Beach.

The Underground Connection generates opportunities that develop and exhibit Hip Hop art, create a link between Hip Hop artist and the fans who love Hip Hop cultural expression; most importantly, provide a voice and a venue for the West Coast Hip Hop community.
