The Liar Show (A TimeOut NY "City Pick") features performers telling extremely personal stories that will make you laugh, make you think and probably make you glad you don't live with them. But listen carefully, because not everyone here is telling the truth. Find out who the liar is at Comix on October 1st.
Here’s the lowdown: Four performers tell their stories, but listen close, because one of them is lying through their teeth. After enjoying the stories, the audience interrogates the cast, to poke holes in the stories and uncover the fraud. Those who expose one of the Liars of the night walk away with an unbelievable "I Can Tell A Lie" t-shirt.
This show will be hosted by Ophira Eisenberg (Backstage's "Ten Standout Comics") and will feature stories by the show's creator, Andy Christie (2007 GrandSlam Storytelling Champion at The Moth), Faye Lane (“Beauty Shop Stories”), and more.
