With their infectious energy, sharp musicianship, and unique repertoire of original and traditional songs, the five women of Uncle Earl are bringing the American string band legacy proudly into the modern era. Uncle Earl’s debut appearance at The Egg was named as one of the top ten concerts of 2006 by the Albany Times Union and the group returns in celebration of the release of their new CD Waterloo, Tennessee which was produced by Led Zeppelin's John Paul Jones.

Violinist/singer/composer Carrie Rodriguez takes time off from her work with Chip Taylor to perform music from her first recording as a leader Seven Angels on a Bicycle.
