Come celebrate with us as we host “Uncelebrated Landmarks,” an exhibition by Central Oregon oil painter, Donald Yatomi and Southern Oregon furniture maker,Bill More. The exhibition runs from August 4 through August 30, at High Desert Gallery's downtown Bend, Oregon art gallery located at 10 NW Minnesota Avenue at The Oxford.
About Donald Yatomi: Donald is a graduate of the Art Center College of Design. As an oil painter, he explores the realms of the industrial and the urban and names his greatest influences as Willem de Kooning, Chuck Close and Antonio Tapies. Donald resides and has his studio in Central Oregon.
About Bill More: Bill More is a designer and craftsman with over a decade of experience in Furniture design. Bill's studio creates little waste as he is always conscious about his environmental impact. Often featured in such publications as Oregon Home magazine, area of design, Dwell, San Francisco Chronicle and Artisan N.W. magazine. Bill resides and has his studio in Southern Oregon.
