Unburied Treasures August 18, 2009

The August program features a mixed media artwork by Jonathan Santlofer (born 1946) entitled Chuck, 2002, and is the second program in the new "Unburied Treasures: Welcom to the Collection" series about new artworks in the Museum's permanent collection. Miranda Lash, New Orleans Museum of Art Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art, discusses the visual artwork of Jonathan Santlofer. Actor Jo Ann Robinson delivers a dramatic reading from a Santlofer novel, and the folk rock band, "The Kevin Slater Family Band," perfoms.
