Join us for the last in the "Unburied Treasures: School of Paris" series, which celebrates the exhibitions Raoul Dufy: A Celebration of Beauty and Icons of the Permanent Collection: School of Paris Master Prints. The Mississippi Museum of Art's Deputy Director for Programs, Dan Piersol, discusses Joan Miro (Spanish, 1893-1983), his spectacular color lithograph, La Ruisselante Solaire, 1977, and his involvement in l'Ecole de Paris. Dan Hise, Ph.D. reads work by perphaps the most famous of American expatriate writers in Paris, Ernest Hemingway. Live music follows.
