Optional Find Your Match Mixer Game
==============================
The evening starts with a fun "Find Your Match Mixer Game." You'll be given a playing card like "Ace of Hearts." A person of the opposite sex will get the same card from a different deck of cards. Try to find the person who has a matching card.
You are free as mingle as you like - you can either feverishly work the room or simply stand back and let people come to you! The game is optional, but remember, it is not about winning or losing, but about mingling and meeting new people. If you see someone interesting, the game offers an easy conversation starter.
What happens when you find a match?
Once you find a match , you both return to the registration desk and present the matching cards. Our staff will issue you and your match a new card and also a raffle ticket. You are then free to continue meeting new people or chat with your match. The more matches you make, the more raffle tickets you will get.
Salsa Dance Lesson
==================
By popular demand, this party also features a salsa dance lesson. No experience is required for this lesson. Although the lesson is for beginners, easy fancy moves will be included at the end of the lesson for experienced salseros.
How many people attend?
===================
Although we can't guarantee exact numbers, Professionals Guild events typically attract 200 to 500 people at regular parties and more than 1000 people on New Years. A recent party in San Ramon had about 350. We expect between 200 and 300 at the Golden Gate Yacht Club event in San Francisco
What happens after the mixer game?
The mixer is only the icebreaker. You are welcome to mingle, flirt, and dance the night away at this beautiful location by the Bay.
