From Jackie Robinson to Tiger Woods, Harriet Tubman to Barrack Obama, Black History Month pays tribute to inspirational African Americans from the past, as well as those who will continue to make history well into the future. February is "Black History Month," a time to commemorate African-Americans who have changed the world. The Melting Pot NYC is holding their monthly event in celebration of such achievements. This one is for the dancers in honor of the birthday of our very own Lisa Pitts. All dancers to the floor! Residents DJ Kervyn Mark and DJ Kamala will be spinning all sorts of Global Dance Beats. Eye-popping visual installations by Love Intelligence Group always inspire a spiritual connection to the music and the movement. Open mic session encourages all to step up and bring their flava to the music. Open bar from 9pm-10pm. Stroll through the beautiful Loft Space and check out the Art Work. Come as you are and be part of the vibe! Dancers bring the baby powder to bless the floor!
