The University of Maryland Symphony Orchestra kicks off 2008 with a concert featuring Johannes Brahms's Double Concerto for Violin, Cello and Orchestra in A minor, op. 102 with faculty artists David Salness and Evelyn Elsing. Also, Handel's Concerto Grosso, op. 6 #1, Janacek's bracing Taras Bulba and Bernstein's On The Town.
