Faculty artists perform student compositions employing the instrumentation of Messiaen’s Quatuor pour la fin du temps (clarinet, piano, violin, and cello), selected from entries in the School of Music's sixth Walsum Competition for New Music. Cash awards will be presented for first, second, and third prizes.
The Walsum Competition is made possible through an endowment to the University by composer and philanthropist Walter Summer.
