UM School Of Music: UM Wind Orchestra "American Scenes" October 1, 2009

The School of Music’s newest orchestra opens its season with Carter Pann’s bracing Slalom and Jacob ter Veldhuis’s Tallahatchie Concerto, featuring new faculty member Connie Frigo as saxophone soloist. Plus the rarely performed chamber version of Aaron Copland’s Appalachian Spring.
