Multi-media artist/designer Douglas Fitch creates a ground-breaking visual design for the UMSO performance of Stravinsky’s Petrushka involving puppets, movement, and videography. Dubbed Project Petrushka, the collaboration is made possible by the College of Arts & Humanities' 2008-2009 Artists-in-Residence program.
Beethoven's Second Symphony opens the program, which also includes Vaughan Williams’ Flos Campi conducted by Professor Edward Maclary and featuring the UM Chamber Singers and Daniel Foster, Principal Viola of the National Symphony Orchestra.
