UK symposium on knowledge discovery and data mining April 22, 2009

This one day symposium from the University's School of Computing, Science & Engineering is intended to provide a forum for discussion, dissemination and exchange of ideas between practitioners and researchers working within the broad field of knowledge discovery and data mining.

Topics to be discussed include: classifying imbalanced datasets, real world applications of data mining technology, and mining online communities.
