Short and sassy Paris-based Miami rapper Uffie became Internet-famous earlier this year on the strength of her irresistible first single, "Pop the Glock." The tune that got bloggers all atwitter and DJ knickers all atwist featured Uffie delivering vocodored, faux-gangsta rhymes over a bouncy synth-pop backing that was as kitschy as it was catchy. The track finally dropped as a 12-inch — backed with the equally delicious "Ready to Uff" — on Paris' hot-as-shit Ed Banger label. After a stealth tour that included appearances here and in Miami, the bratty MC is back in town slinging more of that whitebread flow served on top of productions from her beats-wiz Feadz.
