Community – We are of one community. Our city binds us in many ways from UK Sports to Horse Racing.
Lexingtonians are a devoted group of diverse individuals. Both proud of their city and of their state they
identify strongly with localism. UFEST is an opportunity to feature that commonality and celebrate those
who keep our city strong.
Family – Families are the building blocks of community. Lexington is a family town. Providing more
opportunity to celebrate and recreate together as families reinforces that foundation. Strong families equal
strong communities. Celebrating family affirms the understanding of the vitality of what can be in future
generations as we strive to grow stronger.
Service – Service connects us in ways that are simply inexpressable. As we reach out, we step beyond
boundaries and touch lives profoundly - both our lives and the lives of others.
