UCI Town & Gown Honor's Concert April 26, 2009

Claire Trevor School of the Arts and Department of Music present the Town & Gown Honors Concert.

Town & Gown was founded in 1963 by Frosty Gerard, wife of founding Dean of Graduate Studies Ralph W. Gerard, and community resident Blanche Harvey as a means of creating a connection between the community and the campus. The group's mission is to promote understanding between the university and the surrounding communities and to provide joint cultural, educational and social opportunities. Providing financial support for UCI students has been a vital part of the group's mission ever since 1967, when funds were established to provide short-term, interest-free loans to students in need.

All proceeds from ticket sales support UCI’s music scholarships.
