The Trials return to Eugene’s hallowed Hayward Field at the University of Oregon. The largest national championship track meet in the world, the Olympic Trials will host more than 1,000 athletes competing for the right to represent Team USA at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing.

Eugene 08 Festival

While world-class athletes compete for a place on the 2008 Olympic Team inside Hayward Field, the Eugene 08 Festival will be the dynamic epicenter for connecting fans to the entire Olympic Trials experience. It will be the focal attraction for spectators before and after each competition session and provide a way for fans without tickets to participate in the event.

Admission to the Eugene 08 Festival is free. Attractions will include:
Two Jumbo Video Screens with simulcast of the competition.
An Entertainment Stage.
A Sports Bar.
A Food Court.
Interactive Exhibits by our Partners.
Kid's Track & Field Interactive Area.
In addition to these attractions in the area surrounding Hayward Field, the Eugene 08 Festival will include live concerts and activities around the community which will expand and enhance the experience for thousands of fans. Reflecting the spirit of our community, all aspects of the Eugene 08 Festival will incorporate sustainable materials wherever possible.
