Will TWTRCON DC be about Twitter in government? Yes, in the sense that micro-blogging and real-time search are changing the way government works–just as they are changing the way other organizations work. In fact, we think some of the most interesting sessions at TWTRCON DC may be ones that will combine panelists from government agencies and from brands, since there is much that we can learn about Twitter in business from both.
Speakers for TWTRCON DC will be people who are actually using Twitter in business, at government agencies and at non-profitsThey will share their experiences, talk about the results they’ve achieved, the best practices they’ve discovered and the lessons they’ve learned. In addition to the panel discussions and keynotes, we are planning to add some case-study sessions to allow some of our speakers to deliver in-depth, how-they-did it stories about their Twitter strategies and campaigns.
We love Twitter and will be using it extensively to communicate about the event, so please follow us at @TWTRCON and #TWTRCON. We also use it to listen, so please let us know what questions we can answer, and share your ideas or suggestions at any time.
See you in DC!
