TweetUp Lincoln! May 9, 2009

Get to meet fellow users of Twitter here in Lincoln, NE!

We're meeting 7-10 pm (roughly) at NuVibe in downtown Lincoln on May 9th.

If you happen to upload your pictures of the TweetUp to Flickr, please tag them with "upcoming:event=2570422" so we can all see them on this event.

Also, I would like to apologize to @fishbone_ @4cal @Rodel30 & @Jacq666 for the TweetUp ending at 9 instead of 10. That was unexpected, as everyone left at 9, and I didn't take the time to check Twitter until I was back to my car. I feel bad about this as some of you had just found parking or were already on your way. I humbly ask for forgiveness and apologize for not sticking to the time slot myself.

That said, some discussion occurred tonight as to what to do for another TweetUp. I'm thinking sometime in July would be good, or maybe August. The idea of a potluck was brought up, and I think that would be a good idea if we're all able to coordinate better. I've certainly learned some lessons from this experience on organization, and promise to do better next time, even if I need to recruit some help with organizing.
